We were surprised and thankful to find
such a nice Lodge that was available to us on such short notice ! They
even accepted our pets !
We took our boat to beautiful Cherry
lake twice, and brought back trout each time. Yosemite valley was a must
see with all it's natural wonder. We looked foreword to the relaxing
environment in the evenings sitting by the fire . So much to see and do,
our one week trip went way too fast ! There is a lot more exploring for
us to do in this unforgettable area ! A HUGE Thanks to Nancy and Lynn
for making our vacation a fun experience !

Lower Lodge

 Located just a few minutes from the Hotel
Charlotte, the Guide Guys Lower Lodge is an 800 sq ft finished open space
(with that log cabin feel, lots of wood) with living sections set up to
include a living room with fireplace, a dining area, microwave,
refrigerator, and coffee pot and bedroom area. There is no stove or oven
cooking in the lower lodge, though there is an outdoor built in grill that
many guests have enjoyed using. Furnished with a queen bed and two
futon couch/beds the lodge can comfortably sleep up to 6 people. The bath
has a marvelous claw-foot tub with a shower. The whole setting is very
private with good views and a great hammock!
 We understand that it isn't always
easy to get away for more than one night, so these rooms are always
available for a single overnight, but we do offer discounts for multiple
night stays. We encourage you to spend the extra day or two exploring
Yosemite, the gold country and more of our area!

Deposit:
The Guide Guys Lodge requires the first night rate deposit plus a $200 security deposit
at the point of reservation. The balance due for additional nights will be collected when you
check in. Security deposits are returned within 24 hours of your departure
following our housekeeping and inventory check.
Cancellations: We understand
that sometimes your travel plans will change. All cancellations will incur
a $45 processing fee. Please let us know within 15 days of your arrival
date if you need to make changes. If you must cancel with a shorter
notice, you will forfeit your first night deposit, your security deposit
will be refunded less $45.
Cell Phones: There is very limited access for cell phones in
Groveland. Verizon does work best, but isn't always 100%. We recommend you
pick up a calling card before you head up the hill. Calling card calls
(800) and local calls are free to make from the phone at the Hotel. There
are no phones at the duplex.
Check in/Check out: We ask that you schedule your arrival time with
us. Check ins for the Yosemite Region Rental properties are handled through the Hotel Charlotte, 18736
Main Street, downtown Groveland.
We will guide you to the property and do a walk through together. Check out
time is 11:00 am to turn in the keys and parking pass at the Hotel
Charlotte.
Pets: We do not allow pets at Yosemite Region Rental properties,
except for the Guide Guys Lodge.
Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in any Yosemite Region Rental properties. Please use the patio or balconies
to smoke. A cleaning fee of $100 will be deducted from your security
deposit if this policy is not
respected.
